About Me: My name is Bridget Carl and I'm from Sandwich, Massachusetts. I'm a rising junior in the Milken Institute School of Public Health, pursuing a double major in public health and economics. When I am not studying, attending class, or working in the UHP office, I enjoy hiking, reading, and attempting to learn to cook. I am also involved with alternative greek life on campus. One can often find me playing music too loudly while walking to class, using Vine references as a second language, or oversharing very personal life stories.

Favorite UHP memory: Some of my favorite memories from my time at GW have been with the UHP! From student-faculty dinners to hikes in Virginia, and trivia night to a spooky after-hours showing of The Exorcist, the UHP offers plenty of fun and affordable non-academic events. If I had to choose my favorite memory, it would be our semesterly hike last spring to Old Rag Mountain in Shenandoah National Park. The UHP hikes are affordable and provide food and transportation to enjoyable outdoors experiences that can be challenging to find in a big city like DC! I also found that I missed being able to walk outside and experience nature while at college so these hikes are a great way to leave the city and have a mental reset.
